"We have traveled to Buenos Aires three times and just love this beautiful city. During our 2007 visit we stayed for a month and attended group lessons at one of the Milongas. We had fun but failed to accomplish our vacation goal of learning the Tango. Even the locals at the Milonga had pity on us and took turns trying to teach us some basic steps. All to no avail! Our recent visit in 2009 was more productive and put us on the path that we were seeking. We discovered Cristian's tango lessons on the internet and signed up for daily lessons over a two week period. Wow! This is the way to go. Crisitan gave us private lessons each morning. All the lessons began on time and progressed through a logical buildup from a strong foundation. No more helter skelter and a lack of understanding the beauty and sensuality of the tango. In the evenings we went back to the Milonga and happily discovered that we could maneuver around the floor and blend in with the locals. We owe it all to Cristian and his teaching skill. If you are planning a visit to Buenos Aires and want to take Tango lessons we highly recommend Cristian". janddjohn@yahoo.comMolly & Andrew from Los Angeles - USA
My husband and I just spent our honeymoon in Buenos Aires. And what's more romantic than learning how to tango on your honeymoon?! Cristian made it easy and fun. And as he says, the most basic step in tango is just walking - and we all know how to walk. He breaks everything down so simply that I think he could teach anyone, even the most rhythmically challenged people, to dance the Argentine tango. We'd recommend Tango Piola to anyone visiting BA.
