I fell in love with Tango because of Cristian. It took me a while to come around to the idea of taking tango lessons. Although I felt I was a natural dancer and always loved electronic tango music (I was an avid listener of Gotan Project and Bajofondo), the thought of getting on the dance floor was daunting. Not having a boyfriend to accompany me to a milonga, I was nervous I would be the outcast in the corner of the room.
However, all my inhibitions disappeared after my first lesson with Cristian and I crave for more, daily. As a teacher, Cristian is like a good friend – He is kind, patient and makes you laugh at yourself (after you just accidentally stepped on his toes!). He starts off the first lesson with reminding you that “tango is just like walking” and that it is supposed to be fun. He shows you the tango steps but lets you improvise and utilize your own creativity to move your way across the dance floor to the beat of Astor Piazzolla. After just a few lessons, it is easy to feel inspired and ready to learn more.

Tango is a beautiful dance, passionate and moving. Cristian give you the freedom to explore a new side of yourself and enjoy the tango. He is a fun and talented teacher.
